Had been meaning to try the Halwa puri here and finally tried it today. We ordered on the counter and were given a table number. Self service to pick up the food when the number is called. The Chana and aloo were delicious! Puris were huge and each of us was barely able to finish 1 puri. They were so fluffy and authentic Pakistani taste. The halwa was a bit too sweet for our liking but still good. Portion size was also decent. We also ordered cheese omelette with paratha. In my opinion, the price for a cheese omelette almost $14 is a bit on the higher side. Chicken patties for $3 is very expensive considering the size and chicken portion inside the patties. So even though we wanted to buy more, the $3.25 did not justify it. We also got a pound of mix bakery biscuits for $11 which were fresh and tasted great. Customer service provided by Aisha was very friendly, courteous and professional. Except for the prices being on the higher side, everything else was wonderful. There are limited parking spots right outside the bakery and they can fill up quickly depending on the time of the day.

This is one of many experiences I had at Rahat and overall I enjoyed the food. The halwa poori breakfast was a classic and nostalgic I especially liked the crispness and flakiness of the paratha and how all the food was served warm. However, our food came a little late and we had finished almost our whole breakfast before I noticed we still hadn’t gotten our chai. I asked the woman at the front counter for the chai and she responded she will get it. Overall slow service but good food.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great place with a wonderful vibe and a huge variety of delicious pastries. Everything was fresh, beautifully displayed, and tasted amazing. The friendly staff made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more!we came from Tucson Arizona. It was a nice stop The man who was in the front was very friendly named if i am not wrong haseeb or waseem . He was very helpful

Wonderful hosts on all the days we visited during our trip to Houston- from Aisha to Haseeb and another lady, everyone was very courteous, friendly and helpful, and so warm. Best chai we had nearby, good samosas, jalebi, cake slices, and yumm zingers with a good deal. The breakfast of halwa puri and anda paratha combo was delicious.
